FMP WORK
A5, watercolour, took one and a half college days (yes, I’m too lazy to work out the hours)
Kind of losing my way with this project, but still churning out the portraits. This is the only one I’m fairly confident about so far though.
I painted this from a photograph taken by Francesca Jane Allen, whose work I’ve adored for a long time!
Life is sweet apart from a few minor sour notes.
Have this rubbish webcam photo of me. Am finally getting used to my shorter hair, although can’t decide whether to grow it back out again or maintain this length for a while.
The good weather recently has made everything seem wonderful and optimistic and cheered me right up.
Tumblr on my phone has gone properly annoying and weird. Instead of seeing my dashboard within the tumblr app, it is now opening up in internet browser.
Gahh, whyyyyy do it?!
In other news, have currently been spending a lot of time watching my sex and the city boxset (for the hundredth time) and putting off two commissions. Why do people ask me to do a drawing, then give me blurry/poor quality pictures of what they want drawn?
I have also had a ton of deadlines these past two weeks, which has meant many nights spent doing work til 3am. I have my last deadline on Monday, then Thursday I break up for Easter!
We start our final major projects this week too, so should have lots of work to put on here soon… If I actually get off my bum and stop procrastinating!

A quick sketch I did yesterday of a stag. We’re currently working on a project for watford council, based on all things watford, so this was inspired by the stag on the watford emblem shield thing.
St Pancras train station (/that very posh hotel attached to it) Loved this building, got the train here on a trip last week. After our tutors spoke to us about the architecture etc, we then went round London to whatever free exhibitions and galleries we could find. Was quite a nice day :)
Bella

My auntie Jo’s dog Bella randomly died last week, and so for her 50th (last friday) I was asked to draw a picture of her. Literally just finished this a minute ago!

I love him :) and yes I’m still in my dressing gown.. tuesdays are my day off!
I think it’s letting me write text now…
But yes, I’ll try find some decent pictures of the commissions I’ve done so far and upload those soon. Wish I’d scanned them in before I sent them off!
I also have two more commissions that need to be done, with a possible third once the person decides what they want.
Fourteen weeks and I’ll finally be out of education, I’m so excited! Kind of sad to leave college, but in a way am glad my education was able to end on a high note, instead of the low it was when I left 6th form. It’s been a good experience, I’m happy to say.
And now I’m babbling. Will get those pictures up on here asap.
